Day 2: Arrival in Istanbul – Flight to Izmir
Upon arrival in Istanbul, take a connecting flight to Izmir (ancient Smyrna). Meet your guide at the airport after customs and baggage claim holding a “WAYNE HOUSE” sign. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Begin your adventure with a visit to the Smyrna Agora and the Archaeological Museum in Izmir. Dinner and overnight stay in Izmir. (D)

Day 3: Pergamon – Sardis – Return to Izmir
Depart for Pergamon to explore the Acropolis, home to the steepest ancient theater and the impressive Temple of Trajan. Continue to Sardis, known for its 3rd-century Synagogue, Gymnasium, and the Temple of Artemis. Return to Izmir for dinner and an overnight stay. (B, D)

Day 4: Ephesus – Kusadasi
Explore the ancient city of Ephesus, a key site in New Testament history. Walk its marble streets, visit the Terrace Houses, the grand theater, and the Double Church. After lunch, tour the Temple of Artemis, St. John’s Basilica, and the Selçuk Archaeological Museum. These visits offer a rich blend of Biblical, historical, and cultural insights. Day 5: Miletus – Aphrodisias – Pamukkale
Travel to Miletus to see the theater where Paul spoke to the Ephesian elders (Acts 20:15–17). Day 8: Cappadocia Tour
Discover the wonders of Cappadocia with a visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, known for its rock-hewn churches adorned with frescoes. Explore an underground city and enjoy the panoramic views from Uchisar Castle. Dinner and overnight stay in Cappadocia. (B, D)

Day 9: Cappadocia – Flight to Istanbul
Optionally start your day with a sunrise hot air balloon ride. Visit Avanos for its pottery workshops, explore the monastic Zelve Valley, and shop for onyx handicrafts.
